In the winter of 1990 and early 1991, prior to the release of the Perfect Weapon, our kenpo school in Louisville, Ky was part of the Paramount Pictures pre-release movie promotional. Paramount scheduled numerous appearances for Jeff Speakman across our nation at various schools and universities to promote the Perfect Weapon movie. Paramount supplied us with a couple hundred movie posters and memorabilia to post throughout the city and local dojos. We then joined Jeff Speakman in Cincinatti, where we ate lunch at the terrific Wa Mei restaurant. There Jeff met with various reporters to answer questions, and then to move on to the University of Cincinatti for demonstrations in the athletic and drama departments. Jeff is incredibly articulate in kenpo and the movie industry. He also gave a very dynamic demonstration of American Kenpo.
